Don’t think you are an artist?  This hands-on online class is designed for those with little or no background in art. This is all about fun!  Paint along with the instructor as she walks you through each step of a painting.  You will come away from this session with a finished painting, ready to be framed!  Don’t be afraid to try something new, come and experiment with other "first timers"!  Gather your favorite snacks and drinks and join in the online fun. Make it a social event and invite a friend! See the supply list at xxxxxx or you can pre-purchase a supply kit from the instructor for $15 plus shipping (must be ordered no later than a week in advance.  Local Cumberland meetup/delivery is a possibility).

Watercolor for Beginners

Access to "classroom" and interaction with other students throughout the 5 weeks. 

A low-key, fun class designed to help newcomers explore the many facets of watercolor.  In this hands-on introduction to watercolor painting, students will be introduced to basic techniques. Designed for those who have no experience in painting, the focus is on getting comfortable with techniques and materials and learning to enjoy the process of painting.  Painting has many personal benefits, not the least of which is stress reduction and personal discovery.  Join us for a few weeks of fun as you experiment in watercolor with other "first timers."
Basic techniques will be covered, as well as "tips and tricks." Special topics requested by students may be covered, if requested.  Feel free to bring a project with you that you might like to try or you may follow along with the weekly guided instruction and demonstrations.
For a list of recommended supplies click here. (Not required. These are just suggestions.)  If you do not have any supplies you may pay a $25 supply fee and supplies will be provided for you in class. (Please contact me in advance, if possible).
